James is very passionate about being effective as a clinician, and he enjoys himself while doing it. He has extensive manual therapy and other continuing education training. He has also held a variety of APTA positions. James enjoys participating in the opportunities in our lovely little community. He teaches OLLI classes at Humboldt State University and plays in a local rock band, among other activities. James worked at Mad River Hospital for 5 years before opening Humboldt Physical Therapy. Physical Therapist
Mona Lisa is a licensed Physical Therapist who graduated from the University of the Philippines in 1981 and immigrated to the US in 1984. Her passion is empowering people to take charge of their bodies, so they can live life more fully, working and doing the things they love with confidence and the right balance of stability and flexibility. Osteopathic Manual Therapy and Movement System Impairment principles are among some of Mona Lisa's favorite strategies to help people get on the path to wellness. She has proficiency in treating TMJ and vestibular rehabilitation for vertigo, cervical and thoracolumbar spine, SI joint dysfunctions, and hyper-mobility issues, such as EDS. She is pursuing learning about PT for long Covid patients to help them manage their energy deficits. In her spare time, Mona Lisa loves to hike and explore, play and compose music on her keyboard, cook with friends and enjoy a good meal while listening to mind-blowing jazz.Carly McCameron, DPT, PT

Carly McCameron is a licensed physical therapist who graduated from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2022. She also graduated from Augustana College in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in biology and played 4 years of college basketball. She is passionate about forming connections with patients, serving those around her and helping people live their best lives. She is a well rounded therapist with a knack for treating ankle injuries after going through rehab for her own ankle injury in college. She moved to Humboldt from northern Illinois in June 2022 to soak up all the beauty the PNW has to offer.Jackson Miller
Office Manager
Jackson is majoring in Kinesiology at Cal Poly Humboldt with an emphasis in Exercise Science. He spent two years at College of the Sequoias, completing his Associate's degree, before transferring to Cal Poly Humboldt. Jackson spent his years at the College of the Sequoias participating in Track and Field which earned him a scholarship to compete at Humboldt. Jackson moved to Humboldt County in 2020 and has been here since. He graduated with his Bachelor's Degree in 2022 and is currently in the Master's Program at the university where he plans to study the Effects of Stress and Anxiety on Rock Climbing Performance. Jackson loves to spend his time outdoors playing soccer with the Arcata community and rock climbing along the California Coast with his friends.
