Looking for Something Different?
- PT Position Open

Humboldt Physical Therapy needs physical therapists to round out our team.

We have 40-minute visits, with no double booking, and the PT provides all treatment. You don’t have to worry about support staff treating your patients, and you can enjoy having enough time to do a good job. We try to stay current with technology that can make our jobs easier, more efficient, and supports better outcomes. We adopted AI assisted documentation, and we also use prompt EMR that allows you to send HEP right out of the documentation software. This includes links to YouTube videos. We often like to make our own exercise videos, so they are exactly what we want. We use Weave communications, so there is an option to text patients from the office phone system.

The ideal PT we are looking for always tries to improve their clinical skills, is team oriented, is somewhat tech savvy, is comfortable with all different kinds of diverse people, participates in or at least knows the message of our marketing, likes our rural area, occasionally takes students as a CI (once they are ready for that), wants to work full time, and stays a while. However, we are open to part-timers and short-timers as well. We are proud to foster someone that wants to master their area of interest.

We are flexible with the schedule, so you will have input in the hours you work, including if you prefer working four 10's, etc. We measure well-defined, reasonable metrics, so you will know if you are meeting expectations; and if not, supportive coaching to get on track.

The right person will enjoy our wonderful paradise on the Northern Coast of California, with our clean beaches and beautiful giant redwood forests. Arcata is 5 hours north of San Francisco, 2 hours south of Oregon, on the coast of California, in Humboldt County. We want to prove we can do world class physical therapy in our little rural area. We have weekly organic farmer's markets, a thriving live music scene, and a culture of arts. The area has many opportunities for cycling, hiking, surfing and other outdoor activities. California is now looking to us as a climate refuge, with people leaving heavy fire areas to move here and invest here. Its an exciting time on the north coast.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits. We are looking for the right fit on our enthusiastic team. From new grad to experienced veteran, if what you are looking for matches what we are looking for please contact us.
